Small Factor's Meeting

Factoring companies who fund clients with low sales volumes operate in a unique way. This meeting is designed to give Small Factors a forum to discuss relevant ideas and challenges of operating in today's economy. Emphasis will be on the round table discussions, networking and education. The second component of the meeting will concentrate on networking. We will begin on Sunday evening with a Welcome Reception. Breakfasts and lunch will be held together to give you a chance to network with the other attendees. Dinner on Monday evening will also be included.

Moderators:

  • Melissa Donald - President, LDI Growth Partners, LLC
    Melissa Donald has been in the industry since 2001. She and her partner started LDI Growth Partners in 2007, making a choice to only do business locally, by personal referral. In addition to serving on the IFA Advisory Board, Melissa is the President of the Board of Directors of Community Violence Solutions, the local rape crisis center. She is also involved in rescuing, fostering, raising and training large breed working dogs. Her first book, The Dog Factor, was published in late 2017.
     
  • Darrell Fleck - Managing Partner, RMJ Capital
  • Darrell is a Managing Partner in RMJ Capital of Colorado Springs. RMJ Capital since 1989, has been a niche alternative financing company focused on the financial needs of small to medium size companies across many industries. Along with RMJ Capital, Darrell is a Certified Business Counselor for The Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Prior to RMJ Capital, Darrell was the President of FP Company Inc, doing business as Abbott Fire and Safety, which was a B to B Company with around 7000 business clients. Before purchasing Abbott Fire and Safety, Darrell spent 25 years in corporate America, most recently as the General Manager for Allied Domecq responsible for the western US and CA.​

  • David Jencks, Esq. - Attorney, Jencks & Jencks, PC
    David is an attorney that has been practicing for 20 years in the areas of transportation and transportation finance. He also specializes in working with Small Factors. He reguarly assists with issues ranging from contract documentation, due diligence with prospects, best practices, field examinations, collections and personnel training. David earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of South Dakota and he holds a Juris Doctorate from Hamline University.

Fee:

          The fee for this meeting is $745 ($795 for Non-Members)

The meeting will run from 8am - 4pm on Monday and 8am - 12pm on Tuesday with a reception on Sunday evening and dinner on Monday evening. The fee includes tuition, course materials, continental breakfasts, coffee breaks, Sunday Welcome Reception, Monday lunch and Monday evening's dinner.
