Jim Scott is the founder and owner of Applied Capital. Applied Capital has been providing factoring, purchase order financing, asset based lending, letters of credit, and working capital lines of credit to companies located throughout the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico since 1997.
We finance clients in all industries, including construction. We also work with other factors when their clients need PO Financing.
Jim has a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, an M.A. from the University of New Mexico, and an M.F.A. from the University of New Mexico.
Jim is a former faculty member at the University of New Mexico. He also had a 15 year career in the resort real estate development industry on Hilton Head Island, SC, Kiawah Island, SC, and elsewhere on the east coast.
